Empowering Young Women: A Look into a Detroit-based Mentorship Program.
Meet Doug Finch, the Board Chair at Girls Group, an organization that provides comprehensive mentoring programs to young women in Detroit. Doug is an early-stage technology investor with vast experience in venture capital and angel investing organizations. He is also a Mentor-in-Residence with the UMich Office of Tech Transfer and a volunteer mentor at the Ross School of Business and UMich School of Engineering.
Before his current roles, Doug co-owned Summit Health, Inc., a nationwide employee health and blood testing service provider. He earned BS and MS in Aerospace Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
