Empowering Underserved Communities Through Financial Literacy

With limited resources and knowledge, it’s difficult to make informed decisions that can lead to financial stability and growth. This is where Priscilla Perkins comes in. As the President/CEO of the Accounting Aid Society, Priscilla has dedicated over 20 years of her career to supporting underserved populations and helping people take control of their finances.
Accounting Aid Society, a non-profit organization, has provided tax assistance and other services to promote economic self-sufficiency for almost half a century. Their programs, volunteerism, and partnerships have been critical in supporting vulnerable individuals and families in Michigan. Under Priscilla’s leadership, Accounting Aid Society has been recognized as Crain’s Detroit Business Best-Managed Nonprofit twice, in 2008 and 2020.
