Keyon Payton is a man on a mission to bring healing to his community. As the Senior Pastor of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Michigan, Payton has long been dedicated to helping those in need. But it wasn’t until he discovered the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) movement that he found a way to truly make a difference.
Through his work with the ACEs movement, Payton has become a master trainer in trauma-informed care and has worked tirelessly to bring this knowledge to his community. He is a founding member and President of the Board of the Institute of Trauma and Economic Justice, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting economic justice and addressing the root causes of trauma.
