Shifting Mindsets in Nonprofit Leadership for Marginalized Youth
Creative design is a field with endless possibilities, yet underrepresented youth often lack access to the resources necessary to pursue a career in this industry. Designconnect, a nonprofit organization, aims to change this by providing career pathways in creative design for underrepresented metropolitan middle and high school students through exposure, mentoring, and financial assistance.
Jeannine Gant, a non-profit executive leader, serves on the board of directors for Designconnect. With a focus on diversity, inclusion, belonging, and equity, Jeannine has spent most of her career supporting marginalized youth. Her passion for creating purposeful connections and shifting mindsets aligns with Designconnect’s mission of providing opportunities for underrepresented youth to pursue their dreams.
