With nearly 15 years of experience in social justice and grassroots organizing, Johnnie brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the table.
Johnnie’s career in social justice and grassroots organizing began early on when he worked for Get Out the Vote, leading local youth in neighborhood canvasses and voter registration efforts. He later joined MOSES (Metropolitan Organizing Strategy Enabling Strength) as a GOTV intern, leading organizing efforts across the city, including civic engagements and clergy coalitions to strengthen ties with African-American leadership.
