Calvin Colbert is a name synonymous with youth empowerment and community development in Detroit. As the Executive Director of Detroit Impact Center, he has dedicated the past 27 years of his life to improving the lives of young people in the city.
Detroit Impact is a non-profit organization that was established to work with the youth in the community to teach, mentor, guide, motivate, and encourage them. The center operates as part of a vision of community development, with a focus on Detroit’s West side neighborhoods.
